æternity Launches Incubator Program to Cultivate the Global Blockchain Ecosystem
Vaduz, Liechtenstein – 22 May 2018 — æternity, the blockchain 3.0 platform designed to deliver unmatched efficiency, transparent governance, and global scalability, today announced the launch of æternity Starfleet, a series of incubator and accelerator programs to support the global blockchain ecosystem by building a network of innovators, investors, and industry enthusiasts.
With the first cohort taking place in Sofia, Bulgaria, æternity Starfleet is a global initiative with coworking spaces in Vaduz, Liechtenstein, Berlin, Germany, and Zagreb, Croatia, as well as an international live-stream option. æternity Starfleet will support global projects from seed stage and provide them with up to $250,000 in funding and access to the co-working space. The first wave of incubators will commence on June 11, 2018, with four weeks of intensive training and mentoring. At the end of every program, each team will be given the opportunity to present their project to an audience of investors, thought leaders, and blockchain experts.

æternity Starfleet will support blockchain education and project development through an ongoing partnership with Software University in Sofia, Bulgaria, as well as creating job opportunities within the region and on an international stage. æternity’s partnership with SoftUni represents a unique collaboration between industry and academia, geared towards developing the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators to meet the growing demand for blockchain-literate professionals.

A separate entity, æternity Ventures, will manage and oversee the global incubator and accelerator programs. Based in Sofia, Bulgaria, æternity Ventures will also be responsible for strategic business partnerships and investments in early-stage blockchain ventures.
