The CR-6200 Series is designed to be a military-grade Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), fully managed Layer 2/3 Ethernet switch. Embedded software includes the Cisco 5921 Embedded Service Router (ESR) IOS with network time server capability that meets industry standards like IEEE 1588 PTP, NTP, IRIG, and 1PPS. It includes a rugged yet lightweight housing as part of a design that can provide reliable connectivity in extreme environments that might include high altitudes, extreme shock and vibration, extended exposure to extreme temperatures, exposure to dust and moisture, noisy EMI, and “dirty” power. It requires no active cooling and includes a military-grade power supply that can be easily added to aircraft and ground vehicles.
With the Cisco 5921 ESR package, this router can provide speeds up to 200 mbps. Buyers might also opt for OnTime’s own router package for full wire speeds.
